US Assistant Secretary of State for Central and Eastern Europe Victoria Nuland telephoned Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó

Wednesday, December 17, 2014

US Assistant Secretary of State for Central and Eastern Europe Victoria Nuland telephoned to Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó asking him why Prime Minister Viktor Orbán urged the head of the National Taxation Bureau to file a criminal complaint against US Chargé D'affaires André Goodfriend who accused Chairwoman Ildikó Vida of corruption learned 444.hu

The content of the conversation hasn't been released but according to foreign ministry officials, the conversations was "polite but firm on both sides."

Hungarian foreign ministry officials said "the government continues to believe that it is important that the United States substantiate the accusations against the head of the National Taxation Bureau. This is the only way Chairwoman Ildikó Vida can clarify the issue and learn about the nature of the alleged evidence against her."

Szijjártó told the US assistant secretary that Hungary was governed by the rule of law; therefore, if US companies experience an infringement of the law, they can make a criminal complaint anytime.

Come on...
Nuland does NOT understand "rule of law". It's way beyond her comprehension.
Did she understand that Ukraine had a duly and legally elected government? Hell no.
She was bitching the Ukrainian US Ambassador in that released recording, that well over a billion ($) was spent, and she wanted "results"; i.e. the legitimately elected(!) government be gone (via a putsch) and unelected illegitimate usurpers of power put in their place.

THIS is the meaning of the "rule of law" to this vile monstress. (Like there are laws, but we just rule - at our whim)
