A "noxious liberal" has been removed from the Russian Central Bank

Thursday, January 15, 2015

Ksenia Yudaeva responsible for the Russian Central Bank's monetary policy has been fired because allegedly, she failed to properly manage the Ruble crisis reported Russian news agencies.

According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, the leaders of the Russian Central Bank didn't respond quickly enough to the emerging financial crisis in the wake of the Crimean conflict and the collapsing oil prices that triggered the fall of Ruble to new historic low.

The Chairman of the Russian Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov has already demanded the removal of Ksenia Yudaeva – whom he called a "noxious liberal" - from the central bank at the end of November; according to the Communist Party chairman, Yudaeva is acting according to the expectations and interests of her western superiors, rather than pursuing Russian interests.
