PM Viktor Orbán will attend the planned memorial service in Paris on Sunday

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has accepted the French government's invitation to attend the memorial service, which will be held in Paris Sunday afternoon in memory of the victims killed in recent terrorist attacks told the Prime Minister's Press Secretary Bertalan Havasi to MTI on Friday.

According to the invitation, the memorial service will be held at 3 pm in Paris to pay tribute to the victims killed in the terrorist violence. In the letter the French government has expressed its gratitude to the leaders of the country and to the Hungarian people for expressing sympathy and solidarity with the people of France in connection with the terrorist violence said Havasi.

The Sunday's memorial service will be attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the President of the European Commission Donald Tusk, the President of the European Council, Jean-Claude Juncker, British Prime Minister David Cameron, the Prime Minister of Italy, Matteo Renzi and Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.
