Russia Today to launch Hungarian language news service

RT (Russia Today) global Russian television network will launch Hungarian language news service this year reported journalist István Lovas on Facebook.

The Russian TV network already has English, Arabic and Spanish language broadcast and soon, Hungarian will be also available writes the journalist.

Lovas wrote an open letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin last year asking the Russian president to help launching RT Hungarian-language news service to counterbalance biased western reporting on Hungarian politics. The journalist reasoned that despite the size of our country the corporate media flooding the world with unbalanced news reports on Hungary; therefore, there is a need for a balanced and credible news coverage of our country.
