The planned pro-Putin rally has been canceled reported orientalista.hu one of the main organizers of the event.

One of the main reasons of the cancellation is that the Russophobe, anti-Putin demonstration has been also canceled.

The other reason of the cancellation is that organizers obtained confidential information from several sources indicating that certain interest groups opposing the improvement of Russian-Hungarian relations by using extremists want to disrupt the event in order to show Russian-Hungarian relations in a bad light. Organizers of the pro-Putin rally don't want to be involved any of these despicable political campaigns and have no intention to provide a stage for such a campaign write orientalista.hu in a somewhat cryptic message.

A lemondás okai között szerepel, hogy bizonyos értesülések jutottak több felől a szervezőség birtokába. Eszerint ellenérdekelt szereplők a magyar-orosz kapcsolattartás fontos napját rossz színben készülnek feltüntetni, eseteként együttműködve szélsőséges elemekkel. Ehhez az alantas politikai kampányhoz az esemény szervezősége nem kíván asszisztálni, nem ad teret ezeknek a megnyilvánulásoknak.

Update:
Sources are reporting that apparently, Nazi agent provocateurs working for foreign intelligence agencies wanted to infiltrate into the organization of the event in order to create an impression that the rally was a fascist spectacle so destroying the reputation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
