Jobbik party celebrated the national holiday at poet Sándor Petőfi's iconic statue in Budapest

Jobbik celebrated the national holiday in "March 15" square at poet Sándor Petőfi's iconic statue in Budapest. The memorial service attended by a sizable Polish delegation representing the Polish National Movement, Ruch Narodowy that keeps friendly relations with the Jobbik party.

Speakers of the rally included István Apáti, Dávid Janiczak, Gyula Popély, István Szávay and the Polish National Movement's (Ruch Narodowy) candidate for president, Marian Kowalski. The slogan of the rally: the truth shall make you free.

The rally also attended by uniformed members of the New Hungarian Guard and the Hungarian Self-Defense Movement.

After the official part of the rally was over Transcarpathian Credo band, actor Vári-Kovács Péter and the "Romantikus Erőszak" rock band gave a free concert.
