Eight Hungarian tourists traveled on a ferry that burned and sank near the Thai tourist resorts of Phuket and Krabi

Eight Hungarian tourists were on board of Ao Nang Princess 5 traveling from Krabi to the island of Phuket that caught fire and sank near the the southern Thai tourist resorts of Phuket and Krabi confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

Luckily all Hungarian tourists escaped without injury and they are safe.

According to reports, the Ao Nang Princess 5 ferry boat's engine exploded causing the fire. Phuketwan news websites reporting that the passengers mostly comprised of European tourists, including eight Hungarians; Chinese, Egyptian, Ukrainian and Swiss citizens were also involved in the accident.

Apparently, a 12-year-old Israeli girl has died in the accident and about 100 passengers were rescued after a ferry burst into flames.
