The Hungarian karate team won three gold, two silver and five bronze medals the Shinkyokushin Karate European Championship in Warsaw on April 17

In Women's +65 kg sparring World and European Champion karateka Csenge Szepesi (Kamikaze SE) won gold medal by defeating her Lithuanian opponent in the final.

In sparring in the junior class Veronika Németh won gold, Vince Kiss Simonka silver and Mór Farkas Fekete bronze medal.

In Kata Timea Berencsi won gold medal.

On the second day of the European Championship in adult full-contact sparring Lidia Körmöndi, Gábor Rózsa and Zsolt Balogh won bronze medals.

In Women's 55 kg sparring Zsófi Szabó, (Yakuza SE) won silver medal.
