Edina Kotsis wins bronze medal at Taekwondo World Championships in Chelyabinsk

Edina Kotsis won bronze medal in Taekwondo World Chapionships 57-kilogram weight class in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Kotsis made sport history as being the first Hungarian female taekwondoka who won medal in a world cup tournament.

Kotsis advanced into the semi-final without losing a single fight; in the Monday's semi-final she fought against Eva Calvo Gómez of Spain. The Hungarian taekwondo federation's website reported that in a tight match the Spanish athlete managed to maintain a two-point lead over Kotsis winning the fight.

The other Hungarian taekwondoka Barbara Ducz finished fifth.
