Economic, political and cultural relations between China and Hungary have never been so strong as it is now said Szijjártó.

Hungarian exports to China and Chinese tourists traveling to Hungary broke all records last year; clearly, Hungary has become China's bridgehead in Central Europe said the foreign minister.

Szijjártó also mentioned that the Budapest-Belgrade railway line reconstruction project with Chinese involvement is on schedule. This flagship investment is a major development in Chinese - Central European cooperation. Beijing-Budapest direct flight recently has been restarted creating even more economic opportunities between the two countries the minister added.
