History thought us that Europe can only be strong and safe if the eastern and western parts of the continent cooperate with each other based on mutual understanding and respect. To achieve this goal it is necessary to resolve the Ukrainian crisis peacefully as soon as possible.

Szijjártó and his Slovenian colleague joined the meeting convened by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and attended by the Chinese, Egyptian, South African, Zimbabwean, Kazakh, Tajik, Turkmen, Mongolian, Armenian and Kyrgyz foreign ministers.

At the meeting the foreign ministers discussed cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union said Szijjártó. It make sense to start dialogue and consultation between the two organizations he added.
