Pentecostal boat ride tradition revived in Szeremle

Local and Kalocsa folk dancers taking a boat ride on a lake near Szeremle by reviving an old Pentecost tradition; the custom was unique in the Carpathian Basin in the 1920s but later went out of fashion. According to tradition, during Pentecost, young men invited girls strolling on the shore of the lake for a boat ride with boats decorated with green branches.
