Illegal immigrants collecting garbage in Balassagyarmat

Monday, June 22, 2015

Jobbik Balassagyarmat wing successfully convinced illegal immigrants to volunteer their time and effort and help clean up an area near the Ipoly river. Activists handed out trilingual brochures to residents of the local refugee camp asking them to help making the city more beautiful.

The head of Jobbik Balassagyarmat wing Lenard Dobrocsi said the main message was - contrary to liberal advocacy groups' arguments - to emphasize immigrants' obligations toward the country that give them temporary refuge. It is not right that refugees receive taxpayers money, but they don't contribute to their own operating expenses.

The law doesn't allow to anyone to order migrants to do compulsory public work, but anyone can perform volunteer work said Jobbik local leaders.
