The US will never be as strong as in the last 20-30 years - Former President of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski

Monday, June 1, 2015

In the emerging multi-polar world order, Russia is expected to be one of the power centers of the world offering attractive choices for regional countries said Former President of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski at a security conference held in Prague last week.

"The United States will also play an important role, but it will never be as strong as in the last 20-30 years."

According to Kwaśniewski, Moscow by using economic means and propaganda will very soon reestablish its influence over Ukraine, which can't remain under American influence due to the logic of the emerging new multi-polar world order.

The former Polish president explained that Moscow is preparing a new Majdan to create a new Ukrainian political elite. This new elite will receive massive popular support from the population due to the discontent with the current political establishment.

According to Kwaśniewski, this new pro-Russian government will not necessarily become anti-European, but instead, in its rhetoric, it proposes attainable goals to the people, and will remain within the bounds of reality. This realistic approach offers averting Ukrainian bankruptcy, and normalization of relations with Russia.

Such a turnaround will definitely occur in the next few years, but there is a strong likelihood that the current Ukrainian government will not survive the next winter said the former Polish president.
