PM Viktor Orbán visits Kazan, Russia for the 16th FINA World Championships

Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will travel to Kazan, Russia the weekend to attend the closing ceremony of the world class event and to accept the FINA-flag as the leader of the country that will hosts the 2017 FINA World Championships said the Prime Minister's Press Officer Bertalan Havasi on Tuesday.

In Kazan the prime minister will attend several sporting events and meet Hungarian athletes.

The prime minister is a big football fan but besides football, he also likes swimming sports. In September last year, he launched Balatonfüred junior Open Water World Championships.

The prime minister's Kazan program also include meeting with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. The two prime ministers discuss current world issues and review bilateral relations between the two countries said spokesman Bertalan Havasi.
