Chinese warships heading toward the Syrian coast to support Damascus in the fight against terrorism write Sham Times.

Member of the Russian Federal Council Igor Morozov confirmed the news.

The news is true, Beijing sends warships and an aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean Sea to join the Russian led military coalition fighting against ISIS Morozov said.

According to the Russian politician, a strong anti-ISIS alliance is emerging, which also includes Iran, Iraq and the Hezbollah.

According to Morozov, the time will come when the United States will recognizes that the anti-terrorism alliance created by Moscow is the only option left to fight against terrorism, because the alliance works with the Damascus government and includes forces from the region that want a real solution to the ongoing regional conflicts.

Regardless of the differences between Washington and Moscow, the United States will realize that the American led alliance against terrorism is not working said Morozov.

Chinese presence in the region may alarm the United States because China's entry into the Syrian conflict is a sign of escalation of the rivalry between Washington and Beijing in which Moscow supports the latter.
