Thousands of migrant held in makeshift camps at the Slovenian – Austrian border – chaos and confusion spreading among illegal immigrants as authorities struggle to control the situation.
The M1 TV correspondent reported from the scene that soon after sunset riot police had to be deployed at the Slovenian – Austrian border after a few hundred migrants broke through the metal cordon as they ran out of patience waiting for buses that transport them to Germany.
Migrants complaining that Austrian officials are too slow arranging transportation to them. A bus can carry only fifty people, as a result, on Thursday taxis from Graz have also appeared at the border. A taxi driver told journalists that a trip to Vienna costs from 320 to 350 euros.
