From Friday to Sunday 311 migrants have been apprehended by Hungarian border guards

Police laid charges against six men for human trafficking - reported police headquarters Monday morning.

On Friday 140, on Saturday 111 and on Sunday 60 migrants have been captured by various law enforcement agencies reported by police website.

In the first few weeks of the year around ten migrants were captured per day, but in February, at certain days this number jumped to 237.

From Monday to Sunday authorities have taken action against 768 illegal migrants.

The composition of the nationality of the migrants is very diverse; most of them have come from Kosovo, Pakistan, Haiti and Sri Lanka.

Last week, Szeged District Court tried 1666 migrants by accelerated procedures for illegal border crossing and damaging the border fence.
