Bavarian police informed Hungary's Munich Consulate General that one of the victims of the Munich shooting appears to be a Hungarian dual citizen born in 2001.
The Hungarian embassy was informed verbally about the incident but so far, no written confirmation has been provided of the victim’s identity said Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.
The Consulate General has already contacted the victim's family.
Friday night a 18-year-old Iranian-German dual citizen shot dead nine people and wounded dozens of others in a Munich shopping mall - three women and five minors among the victims; the shooter then, killed himself. According to the first findings, there was no political motivation behind the shooting.
Altogether, twenty-seven individuals were wounded in the incident; they are still in hospital reported German police.
