Instruction materials and maps have been found by Ásotthalom wildlife officers at the Hungarian-Serbian border that give step-by-step directions and tips to illegal immigrants how to cross national borders without being detected by border guards.
The manual was published by W2eu (Welcome to Europe) migrants aid group with links to American billionaire George Soros' Open Society Foundation write Ásotthalom Mayor László Toroczkai on Facebook adding that this was not the first time that wildlife officers found migrant training materials in the municipality.
If a migrant is apprehended he/she must declare himself/herself a juvenile because juveniles can’t be detained or expelled from the country even if the individual does not have proper travelling document says the manual.
These tips are getting even more interesting in the light of a recent incident took place in Germany: a 19-year-old Pakistani migrant with links to the Islamic State terrorist organization attacked German citizens seriously wounding many of them; he traveled to Germany through Hungary where he declared himself a juvenile when he was captured.
The man entered into Hungary near Ásotthalom where wildlife officers apprehended him and handed over to police. He stayed in an open refugee camp for a while then, he traveled to Germany write Toroczkai on Facebook.
Toroczkai applies for US visa
Reacting to US Ambassador to Budapest Colleen Bell's last week visit to the Hungarian-Serbian border that according to several experts, was a political pressure tactic, Ásotthalom Mayor László Toroczkai announced that he applies for US visa to personally study US border control procedures at the US-Mexican border.
In an interview with HirTV, Toroczkai regretted that the US ambassador didn't stop at Ásotthalom, which is at the forefront in the fight against illegal immigration.
What do you think? Will Toroczkai be granted visa by the US embassy?
Ásotthalom Mayor László Toroczkai’s open letter to US Ambassador to Hungary Colleen Bell
"The Honorable Mrs. Colleen Bell, Ambassador of the United States of America to Hungary
I learned from the news that you visited our region in the interest of gaining personal experience on the situation caused by illegal mass migration on the Hungarian-Serbian border.
During your stay, you surveyed the border barrier and the transit zone of Röszke, where the Hungarian authorities introduced you to their procedures and where you inquired about the situation of the migrants.
I am sorry to hear that you were not interested in the situation of the law-abiding Hungarian citizens who live close to the border. Illegal migration causes problems not only for the criminal economic migrants and the unindentifiable asylum seekers arriving from war zones, but also for the law-abiding Hungarian people.
I invite you to Ásotthalom to inform you personally about our situation, that was caused by illegal migration. I will be glad to welcome you as my guest in our local municipality, just like I welcomed the Swedish ambassador, who visited us previously. He inquired about the effects of illegal migration on the local Hungarians.
At the same time, I would like to call your attention to a fact that you too know well: that the foundation of diplomatic representatives' legal status is mutuality.
The principles of state sovereignty state that states cannot exercise jurisdiction over each other. The principle of sovereignty also states that all states are equal and all their relations must be based on the principle of mutuality.
I therefore ask you to cooperate with our administration and assist us in visiting the US-Mexico border to see -- with the presence of the American authorities -- the border protection system of the United States of America. I would furthermore like to meet with the Mayor of a town close to the US-Mexico border, with a similar population to Ásotthalom's, in order to exchange our experiences.
Please accept my best regards.
Mayor László Toroczkai
Ásotthalom, 1. August 2016"
