The place is a meeting point of Hungarian fans in Rio, where they can mingle with athletes and enjoy a piece of Hungarian culture and history far away from the motherland.

The building has quickly become a favorite location of local residents as well; every afternoon for a few hours the House of Hungary opens its doors to Brazilian fans too.

The building is situated in a great location on the shores of a lake in downtown Rio de Janeiro. From the terrace the 710-meter Corcovado mountain with the statue of Christ the Redeemer is clearly visible.

Locals like to make pictures in front of the big Rubik's cube or at the national emblem decorated with the colors of the national flag.

Visitors can taste the delicacies of Hungarian cuisine and can sample world famous Hungarian mineral waters; they can party by listening the music of the Infusion trio that plays on the terrace every day or play interactive games.
