Kazakh National Hero Kejki batir's skull was brought to the Hungarian Natural History Museum in Budapest for the purpose of scientific investigation and for facial reconstruction.
Hungarian experts will perform genetic sampling on the remains and make an accurate three-dimensional model of the Kazakh freedom fighter.
Kazakh National Hero Kejki batir grew up in Torgaj rural areas - he belonged to the Kipchak tribe. He was one of the leaders of the uprising against Tsarist Russian colonialism in 1916.
After the uprising was crushed Kejki batir continued the armed resistance for many more years.
