Six members of the Hungarian national water-polo team inducted in the ISHOF

Six Hungarian water polo players inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame, Sunday night in Santa Clara, California.

The inductees are: Tibor Benedek, Péter Biros, Tamas Kásás, dr. Gergely Kiss, dr. Tamás Molnár and Zoltán Szécsi.

The hostess of the event was none other than Olympic champion swimmer, Ágnes Kovács who is also a member of the club.

The ceremony attended by the former Head-Coach of the Hungarian National Team and the current Head of the Hungarian Water Polo Association dr. Dénes Kemény who himself was inducted in the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 2011.

Hungarian water polo players has been well represented in the prestigious body as Faragó Tamás, Gyarmati Dezső, Halassy Olivér, Homonnay Márton, Kárpáti György, Kemény Dénes, Komjádi Béla, Lemhényi Dezső, Markovits Kálmán, Mayer Mihály, Németh János, Szivós István, id. Szivós István and Zólyomi András are already members of the club.
