The Russian car manufacturer started selling Lada models in Hungary one year ago. In the past year, 1600 Lada Kalina models were sold. Currently, Hungary has the highest brand's market share in Europe, and in terms of sales volume Hungary is in second place on the continent.

The basic model sells for three million forints (about US$ 10 000) which include electric windows, adjustable steering wheel, onboard computer, full-size spare tire, and four airbags.

The new Lada Vesta has been developed with the help of Renault. It looks fairly spacious and well equipped, but it is not as cheap as the Kalina model.

Lada Vesta comes with a 1.6-liter 105 horsepower engine, which is revised to reduce gas consumption to meet the Euro 6 standards.

It is able to reach 0 - 100 km in 11 seconds; its top speed is 180 km / h; its average fuel consumption is 6.1 liters per 100 km.
