Viktor Orbán discussed bilateral and international issues with Vladimir Putin and Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni on the phone

Budapest / Moscow / Rome, May 26, 2017 (MTI) - Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, discussed bilateral issues on the phone on Friday said Bertalan Havasi, head of the Prime Minister's Press Office.

According to a press release published on the Kremlin website, the main topic of the telephone conversation was the implementation of the agreements signed by the Hungarian prime minister and the Russian president on February 2 in Budapest.

The two leaders paid particular attention to the expansion of the Paks Nuclear Power Plant with two new blocks by Russian state atomic energy group Roszatom, as well as joint projects in the gas sector.

Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orbán also agreed to maintain their personal contacts in the future keeping close eye on upcoming projects.

Viktor Orbán also spoke on the phone with Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni on Friday reviewing current international affairs added Havasi.
