Seven-weeks old Siberian tiger cub was introduced to the public

Wednesday, June 14, 2017

The Siberian tiger cub of the Debrecen Zoo was born seven weeks ago. The zoo has been trying to breed Siberian tigers since 2014, and this year, success has crowned their efforts.

The tiger cub has to be hand-fed because its mother doesn't produce enough milk.

The unnamed tiger cub will stay in the zoo for one year and will then be taken to another zoo. The Siberian tiger is part of the International Animal Rescue Program for the Protection of Endangered Animals.
