Budapest honors the 100th anniversary of Finnish Independence by a Northern Light installation and lighting the Elisabeth bridge by Finnish national colors

Finland celebrates the 100th anniversary of its independence this year; on the occasion, between December 3 and 6 the Elisabeth bridge will be lit up by Finnish national colors and an audiovisual Northern Light installation will be created at Gellért Hill waterfall accompanied by a sound atmosphere composed by Kasperi Laine, one of the best known Finnish sound designers.

The Northern Light installation orgainzed by the FinnAgora and the performance will be a cooperative effort between Hungarian and Finnish artists.

The "Northern Light Sculpture" installation is brainstormed by Media Artists András Nagy and László Zsolt Bordos.

Bordos.ArtWorks has been working in the field of light design since the year 2000 and as a visual design partner worked for many Hungarian and foreign theater, opera and concert productions and it is counted among the most renowned pioneers of the genre in America, Australia and Japan.

The Hungarian design artists also invited to participate in LUX Light Art Festival held in January 2018 to perform a unique show by light painting the Helsinki Cathedral.
