Jobbik President Gábor Vona wrote an open letter to the French president

Jobbik President Gábor Vona, wrote an open letter to French President President Emmanuel Macron informing the French head of state that Hungary will be joining the national consultation initiative under a Jobbik-led government set up after the spring's parliamentary elections.

The aim of the initiative is to con the people into believing that they still have a say in their own affairs.

The Hungarian government has shown no interest in this political theatre so far.

Vona reminds its readers that on April 8, parliamentary elections will be held in Hungary when Hungarian citizens can cast their vote on the Fidesz government's policies that in fact destroyed Hungary's international reputation.

Vona assured the French president that the new Jobbik-led government under his leadership will be joining the initiative and will be more than happy to "discuss our common European affairs."
