The author of the song has recently visited Hungary with Bishop William Shomali of Jordan to report on the situation of Christian communities in the Middle East and the problems they face in their homeland especially at the light of suffering refugees who escaped from the Syrian civil war.

Azbej Tristan added that during their stay in Hungary the Jordanian delegation was welcomed by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán with whom they took part in a common ecumenical prayer in St. Stephen's Basilica.

The Author of the Song Tomeh Jbara said: The richness of Hungarian culture, the beauty of the country, and the support of Hungarians for persecuted and suffering Christians around the world inspired her to write the song.

The state secretary stressed that the goal was to save the Christian communities in the Middle East, and help refugees to return to their homeland.
