Jobbik Presidency called on Krisztina Morvai to give back her EP mandate

Wednesday, April 11, 2018

The national leadership of the Jobbik party called on Krisztina Morvai to give back her EP mandate.

Krisztina Morvai won her seat in the European parliament from the Jobbik list.

According to the leadership of the party, Morvai has been campaigning against the Jobbik party by echoing similar lies and slanders like Fidesz over the past couple of months.

By campaigning against Jobbik, she has made significant contributions to the Fidesz victory, which is a shame of a human rights activist says the statement.

Krisztina Morvai gives an excellent assessment of the election results and the future of Jobbik in a radio interview that can be listened HERE!

Krisztina Morvai's response:

I've learned from the press that I was recalled by the Jobbik Presidency of the European Parliament. The law on the legal status of Members of the European Parliament does not recognize such a legal opportunity, so until my mandate expires, until July 2019 I will remain in office.

I will continue representing Hungary's interests with the same determination and in line with my own conscience as well as Jobbik 2009 and 2014 European Parliament election program.
